The new INFINITY3-3UR uncooled scientific digital camera is equipped with a Sony ICX674 CCD sensor and can capture images at a rate of 53 frames per second at full 2.8 megapixel quality when connected to a high-speed USB 3.0 interface. When it comes to low-light situations, the INFINITY3-3UR boasts unrivaled light sensitivity and performance. This camera, which is based on Sony's EXview HAD ll technology, has an extraordinarily wide dynamic range, pixels with a size of 4.54 x 4.54 m and very low noise. The INFINITY3-3UR provides great image quality and value for low-light applications such as fluorescence and near-infrared imaging, which are both demanding.
The INFINITY3-3UR takes advantage of the latest USB 3.0 technology, which transfers images at a rate of 5 Gbits/sec, allowing for the fastest image transfer possible - even at the highest resolution. It is possible to synchronize image captures using either a hardware or a software trigger. Even in the most demanding systems, the 128 MB of onboard memory for frame buffering assures stable and reliable image output at full frame rate and best resolution.
The camera comes with two software programs: INFINITY CAPTURE, a simple image capture program, and INFINITY ANALYZE, a comprehensive image analysis package that includes camera control, measurement, annotation, tiling, and post capture improvement capabilities.
